Sweden, Korea shares glory

3rd July, Bangkok:Sweden's Daniel Fransson defied all odds to oust the fancied Americans to capture the Boy's Masters gold medal of the 12th World Youth Championships 2012 which ended at Blu-O Paragon Bowling Center on Tuesday.

Fransson edged Chris Via of United States, 206-198 to win Sweden's only gold while two gold medalist, Hwang Yeon-Ju of Korea bagged her third with victory over top seed, Jacqueline Sijore of Malaysia, 226-215 in the girl's final.

30th June, Bangkok: Overnight leader, Kim Bolleby, Magnus Johnson Jr., Daniel Fransson and Johan Hellden broke three world records at the 12th World Youth Championships 2012 en-route to claiming pole position for the 4-players Team semi-finals.
Abu Dhabi to host two World C'ships
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will host the 2014 World Tenpin Bowling Association World Men's Championships and the 2015 WTBA World Women's Championships.
WTBA awards 2014 and 2016 WYC
