World Youth 2012 to Thailand

22nd August, Munich: WTBA President, Mr Kevin Dornberger announced during the farewell banquet of the World Men's Championships 2010 at Unterföhring near Munich that the World Youth Championships 2012 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The championships period will be from June 22 to July 3, 2012 at the Blu-O Paragon Bowling Center in Bangkok. Thailand had previously hosted the 2002 World Youth Championships in Patayya and the 2008 World Men's Championships in Bangkok. The country has also hosted several South East Asian Games and the 1998 Asian Games.

Korea sweeps Masters titles
1st August, Helsinki: Korea swept the Masters titles of the World Youth Championsip 2010 as Kim Yeon-Ju made a great comeback to win the Girl's title while Kim Ju-Young defeated team-mate Shin Seung-Hyeon to claim the Boy's crown.
Korea celebrates Team double
31st July, Helsinki: Korea underlined their dominance to celebrate a Team double by winning the Boy's and Girl's Team gold medals of the World Youth Championship 2010 at Tali Bowl on Saturday.
American boys dominate doubles
28th July, Helsinki: Junior Team USA dominated the Boy's Doubles finals of the World Youth Championship 2010 by earning the gold and silver medals at Tali Bowl on Wednesday with Korea and Malaysia sharing for the bronze.
Asbaty claims 2012 Queens title
Diandra Asbaty of Chicago, defeated USBC Hall of Famer Carolyn Dorin-Ballard of Keller, Texas, 244-227, to win her first career major title at the 2012 USBC Queens.

Osku Palermaa took his second consecutive title with victory in the 9th Kuwait International Open and the 6th stop of the WTBA World Bowling Tour.
Korean rolls 3 consecutive 300
Asian Youth four gold medalist, Choi Tae-Seung set a new Korean record after rolling three consecutive perfect games during the Korean National Youth team selections.
